Observer Minecraft is a very important feature in the game. Let’s find out what is the use of the observer and what it can detect. Everything you are seeking is answered here in complete detail.
What does an observer do in Minecraft
The observer emits out the Redstone signal when the observer sees any change in the block it is standing on. Furthermore, the observer in Minecraft can detect another observer. It will observe the title in front of its face, as shown in the above figure.
The primary purpose of the observer is to give you a signal if anything changes. Just like the sensors, it will tell you if anything changes within its eye-range. The front of the observer watches the block that you want to be observed.
Automatic Farming by Minecraft Observer
Observers can be used for automatic farming of melons, pumpkins, or other fruits. All you need to do is to place yours above the spot where your fruit will grow up. As you know, the observer will detect the change and emits Redstone. It will cause your fruit to fall, and you can pick it by your cart.
